I was introduced to Pilates in 1999.

I had hurt my shoulder due to a fall which translated itself into a lot of back as well as neck ache.

After nearly a year of visits to my chiropractor we were slowly achieving a pain free back.  But a long drive in the car or a sudden movement could bring the pain right back.

It was at this point that Pilates was recommended to me with the idea of strengthening my back to avoid further recurring back problems.

 

IT WORKED, and I never looked back!

 

As Joseph Pilates said:

In 10 sessions you will feel the difference

In 20 you will see the difference

In 30 you will have a new body

 

I could not believe how these gentle exercises could be so effective!

Being taught how to breathe, improve my posture, how to strengthen and lengthen my muscles, many of which I did not even know I had, has given me a much greater understanding of my body and how to protect it.

Having had this amazing experience, I wanted to learn more about it and started to train under Michael King at the Pilates Institute in London.

I am a fully qualified Pilates Institute teacher in Matwork Pilates since 2005
